I've been playing as a single and joined up with female golfers before, but it's funny, at least at my club, how the guys seem to stick together and the ladies keep the guys out of their groups. I'll see couples playing together, but never the lone guy or gal in a group of the opposite sex. Strange phenomenon. I used the nerves with my husband to win my club championship three times. I always beat women who hit the ball farther than I did. My chipping and putting kept me in the game. I absolutely LOVE those moments. But you proved you can use that nervous energy to succeed. When I am at the driving range I imagine everyone is watching me.
